I grew up going to the Pensacola Open. Seeing Calvin Peete, Jerry Pate and Curtis Strange up close - in my home town made a lasting impression.

I started Links Letters out of nostalgia for that time and that experience.

Delivering the story via letters in the mail just seemed to the fit the time.
